Coaching Volunteer Positions

Coaching Positions Available:

Head Coach: The head coach is first in command. They are responsible for running practice and taking care of all the equipment. They also make all team decisions during games (ex. pitcher, line-up, etc.). The manager is also the person for parents to talk to. They interact with both the parents of players and the PVLL board members.

Assistant Coach: The assistant coach is there to help wherever needed. During practice they help run drills and during games keep the players in line in the dugout. They are also responsible for keeping score for their team during the games and base coaches when needed. 

Coaches must be able to pass a background check.

Coaches must also complete the following training courses:
Abuse Awareness Training Course
Diamond Leader Training

Platte Valley Little League is also looking for more volunteers. If you would like to volunteer for any of these positions please get register or get ahold of us at plattevalleylittleleague@gmail.com.

Umpire: Be ready to make some calls and help in the fields. There will be a meeting before season begins to go over things that umpires will need to know.

Scorekeeper: We are always looking for volunteers who are ready to keep score or keep track of pitch count. If the demand is high and needed, a meeting can be arranged to teach volunteers how to do so.
